VP of Finance: Thomas Jarrett, PMP
Tom has over 22 years of experience as a Project Manager focused in the Information Technology and Electric Utility fields. He has held positions in various capacities involving process automation, software configuration and implementation, and business operational efficiencies. Among the highlights of his career are the design, configuration and implementation of an SAP System for a large County Government in Southwest Florida. His experience includes Programming, Systems Analysis, Implementation Engineer, and Project Manager. The companies he has worked for are: Prudential Insurance, Florida Power Corporation, ASG Software, OpenNetwork Technologies, and TSYS. Tom earned his BS from the College of New Jersey with a concentration in Marketing and Business. He earned his PMP in September of 2004.
He has been a member of PMI since 2004 and recently became the Vice President of Finance. Tom can be found on the local golf courses of Americus in his spare time where he lives. He is heavily involved in his local church teaching/leading discussion groups and serving in other capacities on several local boards.
As the Vice President of Finance, Tom’s main responsibilities are to maintain the financial records of the chapter and communicate/coordinate the reporting of our financial status with the president and other officers. He is responsible for our yearly tax filings with the IRS.
